Obviously, starting out, one cannot expect to be fully competent after a small amount of training and experience. That's why we offer a comprehensive introductory / beginner / qualified crew course.
We make you feel comfortable by integrating our practical training with NauticEd’s nationally recognized theory courses and training standards.

This training is for those wanting to learn the fundamentals of sailing and contribute as a crew member and perhaps eventually moving up to skippering a sailboat on their own. It is also ideal for spouses who want to be a helpful part of the sailing experience without necessarily learning the finer details but do have sufficient knowledge to act in an emergency situation.
The student can first pick the type of training; on a large keelboat 26 feet or greater or a smaller keelboat up to 25 feet.
For theory, the student has the option of doing the NauticEd qualified crew course OR diving right in and doing the NauticEd Skipper Small Keelboat course or the Skipper Large Keelboat course.
